Guns and Mental Health by Walk the Talk America
The Walk the Talk America Podcast is where firearm culture and mental health meet with curiosity, not confrontation.
Each episode brings together voices from the firearm community, mental health professionals, researchers, and everyday gun owners to have honest conversations about suicide prevention, culture, and practical solutions.
We focus on education over outrage, nuance over noise, and collaboration over division, because reducing negative outcomes requires diverse perspectives.
And because this work is personal, every episode closes with a simple but powerful question: How do you stay mentally healthy?

Episode 60: Rob Pincus & GunPRO
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
For more than two decades Rob Pincus has taught all aspects of firearms across the globe. Since 2018 he has served as a board member for Walk the Talk America and in 2022 he launched GunPRO, a Pledge of Responsible Ownership, to invite firearms owners to take an affirmative step toward even more mindfulness regarding their involvment with the guns that they own.
This is his pitch to gun owners to engage in this totally voluntary and competely decentralized accountability mechanism with their friends and colleagues. This is the gun community "doing something" to curb unnecessary negative outcomes with firearms and Walk the Talk America is proud to support the effort.
